Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every order you place via brabantlabs.nl.
This is an English translation for convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding.
Article 1 — Definitions and applicability
In these terms, “BrabantLabs”, “we” or “us” means: BrabantLabs, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42151504. “Customer” or “you” means: the natural person who places an order.
These terms apply to every offer made by BrabantLabs and to every distance contract concluded between BrabantLabs and a customer. By placing an order, you declare that you are 18 years of age or older.

Article 3 — The offer and the contract
The offer on the website contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered, including strength, packaging and availability. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding on BrabantLabs.
The contract is concluded at the moment you complete the order and BrabantLabs confirms it electronically. BrabantLabs may refuse an order or attach additional conditions to it, for example if there is doubt about the customer’s creditworthiness or if there is reason to believe that products are being purchased for non-compliant use (see the research disclaimer).
Article 4 — Prices and VAT
All prices stated on the website are in euros and include value added tax (VAT). The VAT is specified separately on the invoice. Shipping costs are stated separately and are shown at checkout before you confirm the order.
Article 5 — Payment
Once placed, your order is saved with the status “Awaiting payment”. You pay by bank transfer or via the bunq.me payment link, using your order number as the payment reference. Nothing is debited automatically. The order is only paid once we have verified receipt of the full amount in our account; you will then receive a confirmation and your order will be processed.
Article 6 — Delivery
BrabantLabs ships from the Netherlands. Delivery times are indicative. See Shipping & returns for rates, the free shipping threshold and delivery times.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from an order within 14 days without giving any reason, with the exception of sealed products whose seal has been broken after delivery. The full arrangement, the applicable periods and the model form can be found on the Right of withdrawal page.
Article 8 — Conformity and complaints
BrabantLabs guarantees that the products delivered conform to the contract, the specifications stated on the website and the reasonable requirements of soundness. Complaints about the performance of the contract must be reported, fully and clearly described, within a reasonable time after you discover the defect, via info@brabantlabs.nl.
Report transport damage or a missing item within 48 hours of receipt, preferably with photos of the packaging and contents.
Article 9 — Liability
All BrabantLabs products are supplied exclusively for research and laboratory purposes and are not intended for human or animal consumption (see the research disclaimer). BrabantLabs is not liable for damage resulting from use of the products outside this research purpose or contrary to the instructions stated on the packaging and the website.
Without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection law, the liability of BrabantLabs is limited to the amount of the order concerned, and BrabantLabs is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential loss and loss of profit.
Article 10 — Force majeure
BrabantLabs is not obliged to fulfil an obligation if this is impossible due to a cause that cannot be attributed to BrabantLabs, including disruptions at the carrier, the payment provider or the hosting environment.
Article 11 — Applicable law and disputes
Every contract between BrabantLabs and the customer is governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
For online disputes, you can also use the European Commission’s ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 12 — Amendment of the terms
BrabantLabs may amend these terms. The version that applied at the time of your order remains applicable to that order.
